- Civil Service Reform & Human Capital Modernization: Meritocracy in the state civil apparatus (Manajemen ASN), competency-based recruitment and promotion, performance appraisal and remuneration systems, bureaucratic culture change, and transformational public leadership.
- Anti-Corruption, Public Integrity & Accountability: Development of Integrity Zones (Zona Integritas - WBK/WBBM), bureaucratic pathology eradication, internal government auditing (APIP), whistleblowing systems, administrative ethics, and transparency in public procurement and budgeting.

Publication Frequency
To ensure rigorous editorial oversight, thorough peer review, and the timely dissemination of public administration reform research, BRAP is published semi-annually (2 issues per year, typically scheduled for release in June and December). Peer Review Process
BRAP enforces a strict double-blind peer review policy to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity, analytical objectivity, and empirical validity across public administration and institutional reform studies.
- Initial Desk Evaluation: Every submission undergoes a preliminary screening by the Editor-in-Chief or a relevant Subject Editor to assess thematic alignment, methodological soundness (quantitative analytical rigor, qualitative institutional case study depth, administrative data accuracy, or conceptual logic), and structural compliance. - Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editorial Board renders one of four decisions: Acceptance, Revisions Required (Minor/Major), Resubmit for Review, or Rejection. The final decision rests entirely on intellectual merit, methodological clarity, and the potential for tangible impact on public administration reform policies and practices.
