Scope and Topics
Reflecting its mandate to advance the study of governmental administration and public service excellence, the bulletin welcomes high-quality original research articles, systematic literature reviews, comparative administrative studies, and applied service evaluations within the following thematic areas:

Public Service Delivery, Innovation & Quality Management: Design and evaluation of public service standards, one-stop integrated service centers (Mal Pelayanan Publik), citizen satisfaction indices, co-production of public services, and inclusive service accessibility for vulnerable populations.

Government Administration & Bureaucratic Operations: Machinery of central and local government, administrative law and procedural compliance, organizational restructuring of government agencies, intergovernmental administrative coordination, and frontline street-level bureaucracy.

Digital Public Services & E-Government Transformation: Digitalization of public administration (Sistem Pemerintahan Berbasis Elektronik), GovTech applications, smart city service ecosystems, automated administrative decision-making, and digital divide mitigation in public service access.

Civil Service Management, Leadership & Public Ethics: Human resource management of the state civil apparatus (Manajemen ASN), public service motivation (PSM), transformational administrative leadership, bureaucratic ethics, and integrity zones (Zona Integritas).

Public Accountability, Ombudsman & Grievance Redressal: Transparency in administrative processes, public complaint handling systems (SP4N-LAPOR!), ombudsman oversight, maladministration prevention, and community participation in monitoring public services.

Publication Frequency
To ensure rigorous editorial oversight, thorough peer review, and the timely dissemination of government administration and public service research, BAP3 is published semi-annually (2 issues per year, typically scheduled for release in June and December). Special thematic issues focusing on digital public service acceleration, frontline bureaucracy resilience during crises, or integrated local service innovations may be commissioned by the Editorial Board.
